Fed Watch Continues, World Markets Remain Bullish

Other markets in the world are taking cue from US market’s positive gain and continue to rally. Today the Fed will meet and decides on the interest rate. Many are forecasting the .25% increase for this meeting and bring the short term rate to 4%. I think the market will breath a sigh of relieve after the announcement.

Dell miss its earning and siting slow demand in US and European markets.

Apple surged due to 1 million download on the video iPod.

Microsoft is set to unveil its strategy on web based applications. After seeing the success of Google, Yahoo, and Salesforce.com, Microsoft is going offensive in web based applications but they must have a strategy that compliment its desktop applications.

Personal trading: Rolled UNH Dec 57.5 Call to Jan 06 62.5 Call. 100% gain on the December contracts.
