I guess now we are going to talk about oil going above $80, $90, and $100… I think the most important question is that how will the economy be affected. Will people start altering their spending habit to pay for the higher gasoline price? The answer is no. People will continue to spend until they have somehow lose their job. That lead to the next question; will corporate profit drop like a rock and send us into an recession? Again, I say no. I think American companies are so diversify in outsourcing that they are more productive than ever. Short term, we will experience some sticker shock, but long term we will absorb the cost of energy.
