GM continues to roll out big SUV.
GM just introduced its new 2007 Lake Tahoe. It has better interior (looks like German interior) and better fuel efficiency (20+ per gallon). It is a desperate attempt to bring buyers back to its more profitable segment. The trucks sale accounts for more than 60-75% of GM’s profit. I feel GM needs to refocus its product line and start put less emphasis on big monster trucks and more on hybrid sedans that can easily carry 5 people with good trunk space.
