Hybrid Sedans and SUVs
With gasoline prices likely to stay high, the hybrid vehicles will be in big demand especially when the competitions drive the prices down. There is no doubt in my mind that Honda and Toyota will continues to beat the GM, Ford, and Chrysler. The Japanese companies are in the lead with the new technologies and they have already rollout or planed to rollout hybrid sedans this coming year. I think this is going to rejuvenate the slumping sedan segment. The amount of hybrid Honda Accord and Toyota Camry that will be sold in the coming year is going to be unbelievable. On the other side, the big threes are continuing to focus on big SUVs. Even though it is hybrid, the big SUV will still consume more fuel than the sedans. Check out this article in Marketwatch
